Basmati Rice, Organic

Flavorful, aromatic long grain rice.
Shaun\'s Rice Recipe:
Simple Ratios: For 1 Cup Rice : 1 3/4 cups water, 1 teaspoon of Real Salt, and at least 3 oz grass-fed butter.
For 2 cups of rice, double the above.
- Add 1 cup rice to a pot, ideally a cast iron/heavy soup pot, and turn on the heat. Add 2 heavy pinches of salt and half stick/quarter brick of grass-fed butter. Stir the rice until the butter melts and the rice starts to become translucent...about 3 minutes.
- Add 1 3/4 cups of water, stir a couple times until it boils.
- Cover and set the timer for 20 minutes.
- When the timer goes off, turn off the heat and walk away for no less than five minutes without lifting the lid. Return to fluffy delicious rice.
